The prestigious award, long considered a benchmark for emerging talent, was presented during an event at the Badia di Sant'Andrea in Genoa.

Each year, the football world eagerly awaits to discover the next rising star who will follow in the footsteps of previous winners such as Lionel Messi, Erling Haaland and, most recently, Barcelona's Lamine Yamal.

The 2007-born forward claimed the 2024 edition but is ineligible this time around, as players can only win the trophy once.

The shortlist was compiled through votes from 50 journalists across Europe, who selected the 20 most promising young players in the current football landscape. Tuttosport then added five additional Wild Cards of its own choosing.

Among the most represented clubs are Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain, both boasting three players each.

For PSG, Desire Doue, Warren Zaire-Emery and Senny Mayulu make the cut, while Real Madrid are represented by Dean Huijsen, Arda Guler and Franco Mastantuono.

Serie A is also present thanks to Juventus' Kenan Yildiz and Inter striker Francesco Pio Esposito, who earned his spot as one of the five Wild Cards.
