Watford's Maamma was instrumental in Morocco's historic triumph, leading the Atlas Lions with flair, pace and vision throughout the tournament.

The award caps off a memorable campaign for the 20-year-old, who also provided the assist for Zabiri's opener in Sunday's 2–0 victory over Argentina in the final.

After the match, tournament organisers presented the traditional individual awards before the North Africans lifted the World Cup trophy. Maamma received the Golden Ball for best player, Zabiri the Silver Ball, and Delgado the Bronze Ball.

Zabiri also shared the Golden Boot, finishing joint-top scorer with five goals alongside Benjamin Cremaschi (United States), Lucas Michal (France) and Neiser Villarreal (Colombia). His brace in the final pushed him into the elite group on the final day of the tournament.

Argentina goalkeeper Santino Barbi claimed the Golden Glove, conceding only four goals in seven matches – two in the group stage and two in the final. Despite the defeat, the 20-year-old can take pride in an outstanding campaign between the posts.

Beyond the official awards, several young talents left their mark on this World Cup and will surely be names to watch in the coming years.

Mexico's Gilberto Mora (16), Colombia's Oscar Perea, Morocco's Gessime Yassine, and Argentina's Mateo Silvetti were among the standout performers.

Mora, the teenage playmaker from Club Tijuana, guided Mexico to the quarter-finals with three goals and a level of maturity beyond his age — including a brace against Spain and a crucial strike versus Morocco in the group stage.

Gessime Yassine, Morocco's explosive winger from USL Dunkerque, was pivotal in the champions' success. He helped the Atlas Lions navigate the so-called "group of death" — featuring Spain, Brazil, and Mexico — before lifting the first-ever World Cup trophy for Morocco in any category.

Yassine ended the tournament with two goals, three assists, and two Player of the Match awards.

For Colombia, Oscar Perea was the creative spark behind their third-place finish. His goal against France secured a historic bronze for the Cafeteros.

Meanwhile, Argentina's Mateo Silvetti proved the ultimate super-sub. The Inter Miami winger scored in the last 16, quarter-final, and semi-final, sending his team to the final — each time coming off the bench. Though less effective in the final, his impact across the tournament was undeniable.
